How does God guide us?

Life can be really confusing at times, but we are never alone in our struggles. God is always near and he is guiding us as we go through life. There are a few different ways that God guides us in life, in episode 7 of Alpha we learn about how we can discern God's voice in our lives.

Paul Cowley also shares his life story in this episode of Alpha. Paul had a really hard childhood and was thrown out of home by his Father at age 15. He ended up in prison as an adult and after two divorces he was starting to wonder if he could ever do things right in life. Paul ended up taking an Alpha course and over time he started seeing huge changes in his life. He was able to develop a relationship with his son again, who he hadn't seen for many years, and he even started caring for his father despite the fact that his father was still a rude alcoholic.
