Jen Hatmaker talks about how a trip to Ethiopia got her thinking about what the motive is behind all the shopping she is doing back at home in the US. When Jen visited a family with a very simple home in Ethiopia she was amazed by how much love was in the room. The interaction with the humble and loving people in Ethiopia made Jen want to start striving for more than just building herself a nice beautiful home. She asked herself "What if I worked harder at creating a house of love than just a house of beauty?" Jen decided she wanted her home to become a place where people love well and are loved well.
