It's time to move




We live in a world with so much suffering, but there are so many things we can do to help those who are poor, hungry, lonely and sick. I once heard someone say that the problem with this world isn't that there aren't enough people who care, the problem is the distance between those who have a lot and those who have nothing. The distance makes us numb, but when the suffering comes closer that's when we start to move. Sometimes we are so overwhelmed by all the suffering in the world that we don't know what to do or where to start. Other times, what we are called to do becomes crystal clear.

Today the crisis with refugees fleeing Syria is on everyone's mind and people all over the world are willing to help. Everyone wants to do something to help today because our eyes are open and our hearths are aching for all the refugees.
